Smartphone Video Training for Educators
Create a 30 sec instructional video to support your students' learning journey
Trainees on our Smartphone Video Training produce two video assignments while attending our 8 hour course. We have recently been delivering training to groups of educators from a number of ETBs (Education & Training Boards) throughout Ireland. These courses have been delivered exclusively live online via Zoom in 2 hour sessions over a 4 week period. The flexibility of working online allows teaching staff from various centres within the organisation to attend. The two hour sessions mean it can fit around their own busy teaching schedule.
This video was filmed and edited on a smartphone by a teacher from Mayo Sligo Leitrim Education & Training Board while attending Smartphone Video Training with Póca Productions. Video production skills are fast becoming an essential skill for educators. Video content is an excellent teaching tool to support student learning, particularly in skills-based courses. This video was produdced to instruct art students in the process of lino cut printing.
Teaching staff from a wide range of disciplines within the ETB system have attended Smartphone Video Training with us over recent months - Craft Butcher Apprenticeship instructors, Barrista Trainers, Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy tutors and Art teachers to name a few.
Creating video content is now accessible to anyone with a smartphone as you can easily film and edit short instructional videos and send them directly to your students to support their learning all from your mobile phone.
